My baby needs a bandaid :(
Well at least the first damage is minor. Coming down a side street but well lit downtown street in Baltimore, there was a medina in the middle of the road approximately 4 feet wide. At some point the media widens to about 8 feet wide before a light. What is right in front of it? A steam vent that was blowing out very very thick steam. When I hit the curb I couldnt even see and thought I hit a car that's how thick it was. Guy behind me hit too.
Looks like the chrome piece needs to be replaced, the bumper I think can just be fixed without replacing and the rim is pretty screwed. Although many people have said it's repairable. I have had 3 friends say they have been successful in get the city/state to pay for it, otherwise it's insurance time.
I was not a happy person that night

That's too bad. Wheels can usually be refurbished for around $125 and come out like new. The bumper could be easily touched up but the lip is a problem. If you can purchase it separately you could get out of this for under $300 (if the city won't pay). Good luck!
