After a long wait since placing my order last June, I received a call from my dealer today,

Cars card has been confirmed by factory he said and due for production this month,

He said that everything I requested including the 360 camera was confirmed by the factory as ok.

So we just wait and see now, I really hope I get it.

You can get them now... it just delays some builds. When I ordered mine in January there was no chance unless I wanted to wait for a June/July delivery... it wasn't that important to wait months just for a gadget. I need the car.

A lot cheaper. I think retrofitting is going to be in the thousands.

Yep for those without or that couldn't get it like me (because I wasn't willing to delay the car 3 months and lose the great deal I got) its probably going to be best just to use your eyes more.

The disappointing thing is that demo cars that MB had to test drive back in Aug were all fitted with the 360 camera, but there has been no car delivered in Australia with a 360 camera. Very disappointing!

As I've said before cars with 360 camera have been rolling off of the SA production line for a while now.

If you consider that you have to change quite a few components, plus witing and reprogramming, then the cost is no surprise. The cameras themselves would contribute to the cost due to the number required. Doing all this while the car is being built is relatively inexpensive.

I dont understand why so many people consider the 360 camera so important, for me the parking sensors and reversing camera its more than enough,
the reason I waited so much for the built was the airmatic suspension.
I just thought the 360 camera was nice to have

My build ( UK ) has been as well confirmed by dealer to roll off in March from factory with 360 camera, so yes looks like finally all equipment can be fitted now.

Agreed, I think people are making a big deal because some will have it and some won't. I personally wanted it for ease of manoeuvring but it would have delayed my car and I'd have lost the deal I got, so I passed on it.

Hi all, new member with prior forum stalking status! Had a C200 wagon on order for two months now, but no build date - can you guess what I optioned

I will do some investigation tomorrow, MB customer services said I couldn't activate the order so to speak till April, for a June/July/sometime before I die delivery etc.

For 360 degree camera, do you need PARKTRONIC or 360 camera is a standalone option?

Yes, you need PARKTRONIC for 360 degree camera.
You must also add the mirror package.
