C400 1/4 mile time
Just got back from the dragstrip. I did some baseline runs with my stock C400 before I do the exhaust, tune and custom fabrication on the piping and intercooler. I ran the car 3 times and it ran consistent. First 2 runs with setting on Sport+ were 13.4 at 103 mph. The last run was with the sport+ and manual shifting and the time was 13.5 at 102mph. Car launched really nice from full throttle power braking and broke some mustang owners ego. I can honestly say I was happy with the performance I got from her. Very nice for a heavy sedan. Has anyone else ran their w205 on the strip?

was the track warm and humidity?
every track is different and times and traps will vary..but mid 13 car is not bad for stock.

Temp was in the 50's and dry. Im an enthusiast so I mod every car I own. I haven't had time to look closer at the stock turbo set up aside from piping but would love to throw some bigger turbos etc... I would be willing to have my car be a Guinea Pig if a shop wanted to work on a set up for these cars. I think i would be happy with 550 to the wheels.

Terry, been reading up on your tune. Any 1/4 mile and/or dyno data for the C400? Would like to discuss a custom map once I upgrade exhaust, and piping. Let me know your thoughts. I would like to pick your brain for maximized horsepower. I dont mind installation of new fuel pump or any additional power adders.

I don't have much C400 data, unfortunately. There are a few of the BETA tunes out in the wild and the feedback has been strong. Maybe you'll be the first to take it to the track?
Just be sure you also have the BMS DATA cable and I can help you maximize the performance. We can even do up an E85 mix or race gas map if you want.

I dont know about braking into the 11s with just a tune. I can see the car being tuned to 370-380hp but you wont get into 11s with that little power. You need at least 420 -430 to run mid to low 12s. Thats why im trying to upgrade the piping, downpipes, exhaust and intercooler. After that do a custom tune and see what i get.
