Lowered on Vossens c400
So I have a c400, I have another thread opened up about my brother-in-law tuning my car. We are still in process of doing the calibrations but he has successfully cracked into the ECU so that means tuning with no piggy back. I can't say where he worked to prior but I can say he was a tuner for one of the largest mercedes benz aftermarket tuners in the world. I'll post up more info here when we dyno.
My car is lowered on Vogtland springs and sitting on Vossen CVT gloss graphite wheels in 20x9 and 20x10.5 (forgot offset will post up when I remember) wrapped in 235/35/20 front and 275/30/20 rear. I had to run a 5mm spacer upfront because i wanted no clearance issues at all.
So I know I know, let's get to the good stuff.
These are a couple of quick pics i took after installing the wheels and tires, more to come so stay tuned.

Pretty daring to go 9" with spacers up front, I have 8.5 with no spacers and it is pretty damn tight when turning sharply
Then again I am a bit lower than you.

Do you have airmatic? If so how is the ride with the lowering links?

20s fit very well with the w205. Do they sit flush?

Can you share if you changed any spring pads or anything other than the springs? normally the rear is higher and not level, any additional info would be appreciated

I have Vossen VFS1 20x8.5 and ET45 and 20x10 ET55 coming off my C300.
will it fit direct on the c400 4matic? currently with stock heigh with airmatic but plan to lower with links soon. Do I need spacers up front?

It will work, no spacers needed, but you might want to look into your tire dimensions as the W205 use larger tires than the W204.

Really? I have tried CVT, VFS-2 and CV3 and they all fit allthough they barely clears the calipers.
Must be a slightly different design in the VFS1, sorry about that.

rears also do not clear either with a 55 ET on VFS1, in fact they scratch the back but only on the insides. Needs a 3mm spacer as it touches the clip that holds the brake pad.
I am now exhausted lol. from trying.
Did I mention I am running 20x8.5 and 20.x10? i wonder if thats a bad thing on 4matic, hear conflicting opinions

Yes, it is the very same dimension I have been running, no problems front or rear.
Rim width has no negative impact on 4WD but you must choose tires with as close outer circumference as possible.
