Cigarette Lighter Charger iphone mount
Got this for my iphone 6 and it works pretty well in bringing the phone closer to you. Come in different names at about $11-15; got mine at eBay. The only thing is that you will not be able to use the cup holder in front of the ligter but that's not an problem with me being the only person in the car most of the time. Thought I share this with you guys.

I've seen something similar. TBH I think having the phone stuck about, well it spoils the interior and just gets in the way. There's no phone app I need while on the move, so I'm quite happy to hook mine up in the arm rest and leave it there as its just one more distraction I could do without. Some will like it though I'm sure as everyone has different needs. Nice find for those that have the need.

Agreed, it's not for everyone but there really not a good location to mount and charge your phone in the C. The center storage compartment does not allow the plug-in wire to come thru without leaving part of it opened.

I also just put it in the console out of sight. The Bluetooth connection takes care of phone calls, which is all I'm concerned with when driving.
Even "Live Free or Die" New Hampshire has just enacted a hands free law ... it goes into effect on July 1st and prohibits any hands on use of smartphones , tablets, etc. by the driver.

I thought so too. But you can actually take the wire out through a small opening towards the front of the storage compartment when it is closed. (Right in the middle where the two lids meet) There is a small gap even when it is closed. I do this often now.
