How do you Clean the Piano Black Console?
clean the piano black trim/console? Do you use water to wipe it? Or do you use a wax or some cleaning chemical?

I am not talking about Dusting it, I am talking about cleaning it with some kind of a liquid

I just got my car back today, and it looks like the people at the Mercedes Benz Certified Collision Center do not know how to properly clean the interior of my car because I can see that it was sprayed with something, but was not wiped off so it dried and it looks like spilled water on a glass.

Don't fix their screw ups.Take it back. A micro-fibre cloth will normally clean it.

I have a ultra soft plush microfiber cloth in my car. This is used for buffing off wax and is extremely gentle to the surface.

I use aerospace 303 and quick detailer for the interior-either will clean the console with a soft microfibre cloth.

I will clean the piano-black trim pieces using a moist microfibre cloth, which I wring up in (dishwasher) soapy lukewarm water.

It dries to a nice shine. No scratches (caused by cleaning) yet.
