HID Conversion for 2015 C300 (W205)
Has anyone successfully done the HID conversion on their C300(with Halogen)? I have asked the body shop and they said the OEM H7 metal housing (the silver part) that hold the bulb is too flimsy and may not hold the HID bulb tight enough... anyone has any recommendation?

I think you can still go ahead with a HID conversion, but the right approach would be to replace the entire headlight assembly (with a LED one), however the constraint would be the price! I face the same issue with my 2015 MB Sprinter, though haven't proceeded yet

Yes i have and with no problems. The best way to do this conversion is with a set of H7 R hid bulbs. These are specialy disigned for reflector housing units. Plenty space to hide the balast kit plus cables. The original clips are exelent to use with the bulbs if you are a handy man. If you need detailed info please reply or contact me.
