2015 C300 Questions before purchase.
Hello!
I was hoping to receive some clarification from the users in this forum on a few questions that I cannot seem to get a straight answer on regarding the 2015 C300.
I am looking to purchase a C300 with the Sports Package, Lighting Package, Premium Package and Multi Media Package.
My questions are as follows:
Is it possible to custom order the Luxury package on the C300 with the Body kit from the sport package?
I particularly like the look of the Front spoiler and aggressive body kit (rear air dams) from the sports package, but I do not want the “Stiff” suspension that comes with it. I am looking for a cushy ride and rarely travel on roads that would be considered bumpy. I suppose I could add the air matic suspension to the sport package….but I am interested in the thoughts from the users in this forum if it is possible to “custom” order the Sports package look on a luxury package suspension…..and of course my follow up is ….will I even notice the “Stiff” suspension of the sports package on highways and paved roads?
Second question
I went to my local dealer to drive the C300 and I love to play with the gadgets. I plugged in my MP3 player to the USB and connected it to the car. I was unable to skip to next track through the steering wheel controls. The sales person was not much help. The closest I could come was to get the steering wheel, to display the current song playing on the dash and then proceed to the track list on the album, display all songs on the album and then I could scroll and pick a song from there. It seems there is an extra step in this process and I was wondering if there is a shortcut for a down and dirty “Next track.” I understand that this feature is located on hard buttons and the Command system, but sometimes it’s the little things that can bug ya…..;-)
Final question
Just out of curiosity…does any one know when the new E class will be coming out? I like the C Class, but would be interested in more interior space a la the E class series…
Thank you all for the time

2015 C220 AMG Line Bluetech.
Sounds like you are looking for the Airmatic suspension option, although all the suspensions are relatively firm.
You can move tracks by either:
Flicking the touchpad left or right or moving the Nav wheel (below it) left or right, or turning. If you have any other display up (ie Navigation) on the main screen at the time, you need to swipe upwards with two fingers (a la iPad) to open an Audio pop up, first. It might sound complicated, but it sort of "makes sense" when you are sat in the car.
