When do the problems End?
It's really sad because I love the look of this car but everything else is terrible. The car sounds like I have an industrial fan on when going over 80mph. You can't even talk to the people in the backseat. The problems just keep coming up one after another. Since taking the screen shot below I now noticed the drivers door is misaligned I guess from a previous visit. The dealer is doing more harm than good since they scratched both front doors from replacing my exterior door LED's. It's impossible I don't know what do to anymore. Spoke to a lawyer he doesn't think its a lemon.

I think you just need to calmly work out the kinks. If the speaker is lose, it can be tightened (it shouldn't be a rocket science), if dealer caused scratches, they'll gladly fix them, if you explain it to them reasonably and show your willingness to work through it. They'll even give you a loaner.
Maybe I am fortunate, I have not had issues so far in all my vehicles (Mercedes, Cadillac, Lexus). Sometimes I made mods that created heartaches (wheel spacers), but i learnt through those mistakes (never make wild mods to your new vehicle).
The noise/ inability to hold the conversation over 80 mph, I believe that is just the "road feel" - strangely these days people pay to get that That said I like my car quiet (devoid of road feel). Lexus is amazingly good in that (super quiet cabin), but then most dont buy Lexus (precisely because it is too quiet with no road feel
hope you get your car adjusted soon to your liking.

I didn't buy another lexus because our GS300 was a dud. More repairs and shop time than my Ford 6.0 diesel. My W205 is a dream compared to the Lexus and the 4 banger much more responsive than their V6.

My personal experience has been different. I owned a 2015 C300 Sport for almost 7 months. In my case, my car was plagued with repeated mechanical problems that it was eventually deemed a "lemon". I now drive a 2015 Lexus IS350 F Sport. It's more of an athletic driving experience than the C300. Plus, Lexus customer service is hard to beat...

That's why I waited until almost the year end run for my 2015 C300.
Fortunately for me, the only problem I've had with my 2015 was a right rear tire that was replaced under warranty. Service too has been excellent at this new Mercedes Benz dealership in Burlington, MA.

Lexus hasn't offered a GS300 for years so the car you are comparing must be an older vehicle? It looks like you are benchmarking an older Lexus to a newer Mercedes. Not exactly apples to apples!

Just for clarification it was a 2006 bought new. It was a dud from the start. You name it. Engine rings, cam gears, steering, tranny and those are only the biggies. There was a fuel system recall on it when we traded it in. If your talking build quality, imho, I don't include the name Lexus unless it's more hype for the buck, not more car.
Your suggestion that Lexus ranks low in build quality seems to contradict every recent published study on vehicle quality and reliability. I reviewed the JD Power IQS for the 2006 Lexus GS300 and it scored "above average" in the first year of the model redesign. This is not to say that you did not have problems with your car. However, the GS300 (for that year) ranked higher than the W205 2015 C Class which scored in the bottom percentile in this year's IQS.
Lexus consistently leads all luxury brands in awards for Initial Quality, Dependability, Customer Satisfaction, Dealer Experience and Resale Value. In 2015, Lexus was ranked the top automotive brand by Consumer Reports which considers both performance, reliability and safety.

I totally believe you had problems with your Lexus. When you produce millions of vehicles, it is generally expected that a statistically insignificant number will have defects. However, it becomes a problem when a vehicle has a growing number of reported and repeat quality problems.

Well, I dont think it is a secret, that the cars with the 'ying and the yang' are going to be better in quality. Toyota, Lexus, Kia ... case in point. But that said, I believe Mercedes has a signature look and feel, a ride, aesthetics to love, and just the fact it is a Mercedes, that people buy it for. I really dont think Mercedes is for everyone, but I do think that Kia is for all - except me

Don't get me wrong. I like the looks and ride of our C300. It's just not the car that I would buy. I like driving my 2015 F-350. And for what the C300 cost I myself would rather buy a Mustang GT, but that's me and why the world goes round. I also feel that some times people take what's said on these forums too serious and think it's a personal attack on how they feel.
