OEM diffuser came in the mail

hi guys! diffuser came in the mail yesterday brought it to the shop to have it installed. The shop have pretty good reviews they modify high end cars too.. My only concern was the guy said my bumper still needs to come off for installation even the if the diffuser is at the bottom end.. is it necessary to remove rear bumper..need your input pls thanks!

Seems logical that if you're attaching an entirely new diffuser to the bumper, the bumper needs to be removed.

They said it should take about an hour or so and they've been pretty accurate with what they've told me about installs. That equates to around $100-$150. I watched them install quad tips for me once that I was informed by the seller would not require removing the bumper or diffuser. They had to undo part of the exhaust to get them on. Problem was they shape of the tip was wrong. Luckily they tried only one side first. Took about 30-35 minutes for the whole process so I can't see where this would take more than two hours max which is okay. Someone posted under an hour for non oem but I can't see how.
