Does your headrest go up when you slid your seat back? Head rest button was not touch, just moving the seat toward the back. Kind of weird.

Nope. It moves only when I adjust it or press a memory preset that has a different headrest position stored.

Yep. I assumed that was because generally when you put the seat back it's because you are taller, and thus may prefer the raised headrest.

Mine does, the dealer explained that it assumes that further back equals taller driver

Mine doesn't, and I like that. My last Mercedes moved up when I moved the seat back, and I hated that. Just because a passenger moves the seat back, it doesn't mean they are tall, they just want to move the seat back.

If you are asking about my last Mercedes, it was a 2000 E320.

mmm, interesting, maybe I'm wrong, but as far as I remember, the only reason why the head rest would move is either in a coupe or when using the memory setting!
Thinking about it now, I have not altered the seating position in my w205 since I got my car in mid Feb (perhaps I should not order this option next time)

I've noticed the passenger side headrest has gone up, for reasons I couldn't figure out (now I know) but the driver's side has stayed in position. Probably because I never move the seat adjustment.

My 2010 E350 does that too. Just go back to your preset memory setting.

Both headrests were spontaneously changing positions at random times for a while.

I finally figured out what was going on...

My kids thought it was fun to move them up and down.

The headrest is already high for me at the lowest position and when I slide the seat back it's way too high. If I want to move the headrest, there is a button for that. What are you thinking MB designers??

On mine, if you move the seats forwards, the headrests go down - when you move the seats back, they go up to where they were.
