LED headlight question

I read somewhere that on the 2016's, the LED torch strip on the headlamps lights up blue upon firing up, and then settles into it's white color after a few seconds.

It also said that this wasn't the case with the 2015's. Can someone confirm/deny whether the 2015's go from blue to white? Also, does it matter if the car has lighting package?

I thought that the blue to white wasn't so much a feature, but just the natural way the LED's lit up, but I'm no expert.

That is a feature but it is not available in the US market due to legislation.

We don't get what the European Union get's with the Intelligent Lighting package due to some ancient NHTSA regulations. The blue to white transition is the least of the omission. We don't get the system that constantly monitors and adjusts the output of hi-beam lights for oncoming traffic. To me, that's a bigger minus than the blue to white thing.

The blue to white is on 2015 and part of High performance LED, due to regulations in different countries.
Check with your dealer whether it can be coded or retrofitted.

In the US it doesn't fade from blue to white but it does fades the white gradually so it still looks pretty cool.
