C450 Front Plate
Hello everyone ! I am new to the forum and i hope i am writing in the good place! Anyway, i ordered my c450 and it is about to be shipped and i am getting excited! I was thinking to put the front plate on a holder from the tow hook ! is that even a good idea? Does anyone know where i can get a holder like that which will fit well for the c450?? Thank you in advance !!!

they sell universal holders online. be sure to let your dealer know that you do not want the bracket on the front bumper because if you are in a state that requires a front plate they will put it on when they prep the car .. meaning a hole in your bumper.

It's two holes and I was livid when I got mine. I live in Louisiana which doesn't require a front plate but I bought it in Texas where they do. Now I have two little holes in the front bumper wish I would have known that ahead of time.

If you have holes ... Is it possible for you to buy grommets/plugs that fit the holes that look like the parking sensors ?
That might look a bit better and blend in more

I absolutely love the car it's black and gets dirty extremely fast but other then that it's amazing. Also check Amazon and search w205 I think there is a tow hook plate converter there

Luckily I live in a state which doesn't require front plates but I still called the dealer before delivery to ensure they were not going to drill any holes into the front bumper. Always safer to be sure!
I did not test drive the C450 before I ordered it also, I couldn't have if I wanted to because I placed my order in May 2015 and took the first batch of deliveries in September. I just crossed the 1400 mile mark in ~9 weeks of ownership and I feel like the car is still in the process of being broken in, it's getting smoother by the mile though. Even the brakes are incredibly sticky the first 1000 miles, it was near impossible to brake softly. But so far so good, you will love the car, it sounds amazing at WOT, every single upshift and downshift. It's able to hold its on against a 2015 Camaro SS that's for sure, as I've tried taking on a few of them recently after I passed my first 1000 mile mark

2013 C250 Sport Sedan
These work great, rather take the risk, never had an issue with my other vehicles and no plate. Wish I had known about these before. Color match is perfect.

I haven't seen any w205s with a tow hook plate yet. I've always loved the offset look, and have had the USMillwerks on my VWs. I just hate the idea of having this plate floating in the middle of the lower grill. Has anyone tried a tow eye front plate on a C450 or 300 with the sport bumper? It seems to me like it might be too high to look right.

In my state you need two plates, and with the "curved" Mercedes license plate frame, it doesn't look too bad...

the car saleman said "when you get your plate, bring it in and we'll mount it for you"
