I was driving home today and noticed that every now and again the car would judder when accelerating, only happened a few times and didn't really take much notice of it.

Once I got home I went out again after about an hour and i noticed that the engine management light came on, also, the start stop icon on the dash was flashing intermittently, it would then disappear completely and come back on randomly.

The car has been juddering/jerking under normal acceleration and seems to be getting progressively worse.

Pulling off the drive about half an hour ago the car just stalled (it's automatic), it started again and went for a drive to see if it was any better but definitly is worse than it was this morning.

I will be taking it in tomorrow but I am wondering if anyone has any idea what it might be before I take it in.

The car is a C200 AMG line auto.

Oh and I have put the correct fuel in, it was filled up about a week ago and is now just under a quarter full

You truly won't know what it is until you get the codes run. It could literally be anything.

Ah ok thanks, just wondering if anyone had anything similar.

Took it in this morning so should hopefully find out what it is tomorrow.

Agreed that it could be just about anything, but I've had similar symptoms on a non C-Class vehicle when an ignition coil went bad.
