C class depreciation

I plan on buying a used 2015 C class, and all the used ones for sale around me are in the 28-35k range. About when should they fall under the 26k range?

C400
Rule of thumb would be approximately-19% the first year & another 7-15% year two. After that it wholly depends upon the how desired the vehicle is.

2012 C300 4Matic Sport Sedan
the funny thing is.... thats probably going to be a while, i mean I was comparing prices in a 250km radius where I live and my car's average asking price is $27,000 for a 2012 C300 4 matic sport with no accidents, and 70,000-80,000KM, also with full maintenance records.

I would say it depends on area the history of the car you want to buy. When i shopped for mine a few 2007 C class in mint shape full history where 14-17K. abused 2008's (accidents and no history) were at the same range as the older style C with full history.

I guess some places the cars hold a high value and in others they don't so do your research and shop around! I shopped for 3 months before buying my C class and I got it for a steal of a price, full maintenance records, and CPO warranty.

Thats Canada for you and the area in a 250KM radius from me. using auto trader and on Canada black book the average asking price last time i checked was 27,000 on my car anyways, with the options i had.

One reason I went with a benz was the value they hold, if they are taken care of in my area and the surrounding area.

I was looking at an 2008 E300 4 Matic also they wanted $18,000 it had 90,000KM crazy but thats just how much they went for in top shape with all the history.

Thats why I highly recommend shopping around and not being in a rush helps.

if i were stupid and in a rush the dealer trade in is 15-18k hahaha. so they would mark it up to the 25+ range.

I should add all the green dots below are ones with a dirty title, when i shopped around i called 30+ places and every car was in an accident. it was a pure pain finding a clean one the only places I was able to find them was at dealerships.

Ill add the average asking price for a 2015 C 300 4Matic is $44,500 with 16,500 Km.

My guess would be that there are quite a few more luxury sedans on the road in the Malibu area
