My car has been going into limp mode lately, (about 3 times the past week) where there is no power and the ESP message comes on. The car returns to normal after a restart. I want to take it to the dealer, but most likely, it won't be in limp mode. Was there a solution found to this problem? I just want to have a little knowledge before the dealer starts saying they can't replicate the problem.

Please help. I know this topic has been discussed, but couldn't really find a solution to the problem when I searched.

Dink: ESP will have a code stored in it's memory. It is a somewhat common problem with early W203 and W209, so dealer should be able to take care of it.
