Cycling radio presets from the Steering wheel

Is it possible to cycle through radio presets from the Steering wheel? I used to be able to do it in my '02 C240. It was an option under the convenience menu on the instrument cluster. My new '05 C55 does not seem to have this option. Pressing the up/down buttons puts the radio into scan mode.

Allot of people on the E forums complaining about this too. I am just wondering which if any US based C55 owners have this feature.

E Forum thread

Did MB get rid of this option?

Ok...more searching and I found this thread

Looks like I will just have to drive faster so there is less time in the car to fidget with the radio

some slow@$$diesels
...as the US spec W203 uses an alpine headunit instead of a becker unit...it might just work to go through the presets when this feature is switched on in the IC again (which can be done with stardiagnose)...somebody should give it a try
