Top Speed You Drove C32/c55

A friend had a C32 RENNtech up to 173 and it was still going hard. He was out burning up gas for us sicne we wanted to put 100 oct in the tank before going on track. He said it was still going hard and had another 10 mph at least left.
Trouble was he had the window down and he said it go really drafty inside the car over 170

Hey elturco, any pics yet of your c32 and z06? you were gonna post them a while ago. You're already looking for a $100,000+ car? Just a few days ago, you were saying that you were struggling to afford a C32, and now a GT3 is in the works? Wow, what happened?

how fast
i took my c55 up to full speed on the way home threw idaho were the roads were straight for miles on ends with no one their
i would hit about 157 158mph and it would kick out
it was fun but we took the 911 twin turbo 187 on the same road couple weeks befor

Almost a Member!
I took my neighbor for a quick ride the other week. Got up to 130 in a hurry. It was on a back road that was a 45 MPH. I didn't think it was a good idea to try anything over triple the speed limit.

Going uphill. I'm sure the car has more in it, maybe one day I'll get around to another top speed cruise. Kind of a pain to hold the camera still and drive though.

Actual (non-modded) top speed?
Anyone know what the top speed on a C55 w/no mods, other than removing the speed limiter, is?
I hit 124 on Friday on my way to Tucson. Thought I'd be able to do more, but I remember there being less traffic here in AZ....thought it's been 6 years since I'e been here.
