Lightbulb The one stop search...NEWBIES START HERE!!

Ok Guys/Gals

I had this thread in mind for sometime. Everyone can put their input in it. This will be the easy search thread on OEM and aftermarket installed products or whatever. So if anyone put in a aftermarket product ie...clear side markers. Well you can post before and after pictures. If you desire to put up a link thats cool every bit of help works. I want to do this to make pretty much whatever mods from outside asthetics, performance modding, interior upgrades or improvements or whatever we can do to the C32/C55. Some more examples are:

1. Airfilters, wires and plugs. (OEM or aftermarket)
2. Wheels and tires. (OEM or aftermarket)
3. Upgraded Nav systems or radio units or speakers or wiring. (OEM or aftermarket)
4. Bixenon/xenon headlights. (OEM or aftermarket)

This is a no holds bar topic with "YOU" the owners getting your input or suggestions put in it. I know alot of this would be found eventually in search option but lets make it one stop......especially for the newbies or veterans seeking to do a certain mod. Hey you never know it might become a sticky! So guys help me out. I have some pics of mostly aftermarket stuff put on my car but not downloaded yet to my PC to attach yet but will ASAP. But why not be the first...............input what you can fellow AMGers! I will be frequently modding this thread alot so help me out. Example of topics.....you can choose a past thread to help but lets keep it as informative as possible..

Topic filters: K&N Filter cleaner cleans Greens better....
Topic Warrantee: All waranty work done so far.
Topic RC stuff: Look what I am into!
Topic wires and plugs: Installed Wires/plugs 2day!
Topic Updates Pics: pics of updates
Topic ///AMG brake logos: caliper AMG logo
Topic resenator: resonator delete question?
Topic nitrous: nx wet kit 4 c32

This is just part of an idea but my fellow benz fans you can create it to! I still have pics of aftermaket and OEM stuff to put up and I will very soon. Lets create a permanent memory guys.............

Hey, for the sake of newbies, a collection or list of threads under different categories, sort of like you list above is a great idea.

Some other categories people might be interested in (I haven't searched for threads yet):

- Supercharger upgrades (explanation and results ie, boost increase, pully size, diy options, crank pulley changes? belt slip issues? etc, etc)
- Engine Tuning software (options?, best/safe results?, diy option -I use SCT on Fords?!)
- Suspension options (ie, shocks, spring options, ride height and handling)
- Brakes (stock good? S.S. line upgrades? pads/fluid?)
- Preventative maintenance (known issues, precautionary measures, engine/trans/differential) Characteristics unique to C32 or benz powertrains
(ie periodic service summarized, and worthwhile measures to bullet-proof)

-durability upgrades (larger intercooler options, diy etc, oil accumulator, fuel pump upgrades, any fuel or induction system upgrade necessary for safe operation) driveline / chassis, etc.

-power ceiling before major changes required, airflow/induction limitations?
I.E. pistons are good until X power level, induction system / ECU is good until 1700 CFM airflow / power level, injectors and/or fuel pump max out at X power level

Maybe not as much detail for most, but touching on those topics I'm sure most would be interested in.

Like I said this is all about us the owners input who put dedication and time into our cars...so any ideas in any format works in my book. Its won't be just for newbie but the owners that are considering a mod that has been done and posted already or a new mod not posted. This is basically a one stop shop for those who are interested. Thanks for your input.

Well go ahead and start it off. This thread is open to all suggestions and I definetly think you can add a valid point.

Stock Dyno

So I am a newbie sorta. I am starting with a fresh C32....no tuning....no mods. I am posting this Dyno to show what stock C32 makes (generally). I am then going to Dyno after each Mod I install and post the numbers. This way folks can get an idea what gains each mod will get. So with that being said, the order in which I will mod/ tune is:
1. Sprintbooster

2. SL55 complete intake with y-splitter. Including K&N filters.

3. Pulley(not sure which one yet but leaning towards the LET Pulley 185mm)

4. ECU tune

I am moving to Germany in the next two months and might find something over there for mods and stuff.
I will keep the forum posted.

Thanks for comtributing but I say don't waste your money on dyno for Sprintbooster...its not meant to increase HP just make the throttle way more responsive....you might want to do a pulley and tune first instead of the Sprintbooster cause I read the throttle response is alot better with pullies and tune...and you can manually reset the drive pattern memory the car stores by yourself with a few easy steps.
