Kenwood mobile entertainment installed on my C32..
Pics to come soon...This is all I bought and the harnesses to use with MB harness
1. Kenwood DNX7100+Bluetooth device+rearview camera+Ipod cable ($1150 shipped Ebay High rank seller)
2. Kenwood mono amp for sub (1/2/4 ohms) KAC-9103D+Kenwood Excelon 4 channel amp (2/4 ohms) for door speakers+4 gauge amp kit(1) ($370 shipped Amazon.com)
3. Wiring harness Metra 70-9401 1994-05 BENZ LAND ROVER WIRE HARNESS ($16.94 Ebay shipped)
4. Metra 40-VW10 Volkswagon Antenna Adapter Euro Ford NEW ($6.75 shipped Ebay)
5. BRAND NEW PAC SWI-CAN STEERING WHEEL ADAPTER/INTERFACE ($49.98 Ebay shipped)---still not installed
6. 2 20 Ft Tsunami RCA Cable Interconnect 4 Amp ($18.80 shipped Ebay)
7. 1 PIONEER PREMIER TS-W2501D4 SPL 10 CAR SUBWOOFER SUB NEW ($122.49 shipped Ebay)----not installed
8. 1 NEW PAC SWI-JACK UNIVERSAL STEERING WHEEL CONTROL ($45.68 shipped Ebay)----not installed yet
9. Metra install kit MBK100C ($15 shipped a company named Ambient)
10. Add another $300 approx spent on installing via audio shop
I retained the use of the OEM door speakers(I do plan to replace eventually) and sub but by accident the volume was to high and blew the sub so ordered a way better replacement. 1. Bose Amp was removed (for sale look in the classifieds) 2. OEM CD changer removed (for sale in classifieds) and 3. a DVD player removed. Basically took 20lbs off the front axles since I added a Uptima battery and put about 22 lbs to the rear axles since Amps are located in trunk. The Pioneer Premier SPL 10" Sub I am installing will add approximately another 29lbs with ported enclosure but will be removable so track days aren't hindered much. I think I took out 15+lbs by removing those three items but added more due to all the additional devices and wires like the Amp kit and RCA wires. All in all I will miss the use of the OEM voice comand and the telephone answer/hangup buttons on the steering wheel but this is soooo much better. I connect the Ipod and automatically it plays my list...I wanted to add a TV tuner but waiting til they make digital TV tuners instead. Rearview camera works flawlessly in reverse. I do think the OEM door speakers sound cleaner/better but need to get upgrade eventually. BT works great so far it connects to my Iphone no issues.

03 g35 coupe...........02 c32 Sold
sure...they are just wired as regular speakers....running down the passenger side of the car. (if you want the sub you would be best to get another one or an amp)

Yes...they can be used...I was at odd what ohms they were so even though I tried to ask the forum and research the answer I ended up just getting AMPS that were 2/4 ohms capable to handle them without the worry of them blewing on me like the SUB did cause the volume was to loud...the Bose Sub is a very weak point for anything other then the OEM setup.

I have not installed them yet cause one I have the SWI-X but I need the SWI-JACK and earlier during the week I went to a pro audio shop and they claim I am missing the Mercedes can plug So it remains uninstalled til I get a solution...but its suppose to control volume and track selection and source...

Update 3/28/08
Ok an update...
I have the 10" Pioneer Prenier sub installed in ported enclosure and the Sterring wheel controls installed(thanks Jake). I have a usb port in the back of the HU so I added a M to F 6' extension so I can use either the Ipod cable or a thumb drive(flash drive). I an able to play DivX movies so thanks to the sharing website. This HU lets me upload up to three pics of my choosing and use it as a screen saver...I got more used to dialing in the audio controls via the HU so everythings sounds great. This HU permits a dual zone where you can use the rear speakers on another soucre such a DVD play permitting me to listen to music with front speakers. I have a total of 5 screens running of this HU but needed an video amp which I already have. I am trying to learn how to make the rearview camera turn on(at will) so I can record it with another camera when I am at the strip. I am more satisfied with my sound so may not upgrade the front and rear door speakers yet or not at all. I now have the time to research the MBquarts and Focal as well as Diamond audio speakers I would like. The sterring wheel conrol was retained with the use of Pac-audio.com SWI-CAN and SWI-JACK modules. On the first try the Pac SWI-JACK worked but went bad so I had it replaced. I used a shop Soudz plus in Wrrenville IL to purchase the SWI-JACK locally but they can be had thru Ebay also for half the price. I really like this system...my car feels new again! Well as for the Bluetooth well it gives you an option to auto-answer so I don't need the old phone button on the steering wheel any longer. Currently I have the volume set to volume control + or - and the source is controlled by the main arrow up/down button on the steering wheel...the phone buttons are my trackup/down and AM/FM station up or down or presets.

Victor - Want me to re-tune your car before the meet? It's on me.
I have to tune Jake's C32, Brett's C32, Alan's C32, Perry's C32, Eugene C55, Kirk's SRT6, and my car again before the meet....one more won't hurt.
