Evosport ODPS, Removed Resonator, BBS19" rims and the most importantly I had about 4 oz of gas left in the gas tank

The bmw ran at 14, 16 and 17lb of boost. He never ran his max boost at 19lb which he has 510 rwh. But between 14 and 15lb I kept up pretty good. The owner wasn't driving the car, he was filming the video.
Just to let you know he's got Garret T61-
There is another video coming, Ro0zy will post it later.

Charlie

I don't get it. The BMW is running 510 rwhp and you are running something like 320 and have an extra passenger. I'd be pretty disappointed if I were the BMW owner.

OK fine, he is running between 14.5 and 16.5 lbs, cut his HP in half to say 410 rwhp, same comment, I would have expected him to crush you.

650 lbs isn't a big enough difference. If the M5 is even running just 410 rwhp, it still has a significant power to weight advantage and should easily pull away. At 3740 lbs for the C32, 3540 C32 + 200lbs for you and the stuff in your car, your power to weight ratio is 11.69, assuming you are running 320 rwhp. At 4424 lbs for the M5, 4024 M5 + 400 lbs for the driver and passenger + more gas, the M5 has a power to weight ratio of 10.79. That is a pretty big difference. Gearing of course plays a role but the M5 should be able to find a gear where it easily pulls but that never appears to be the case. Also, in the first video, the power to weight ratio would be even bigger for the M5 because you had the extra passenger and they didn't.

Of course if the M5 is running significantly less than 410 rwhp then it would be closer but the subject of your posting was C32 vs 600 HP M5.

Still, very cool videos.

I actually thought they were pretty darn good. Maybe they could have cut out some of the in between stuff but I still enjoyed them.

Interesting 5 Series. I wouldn't use a M5's weight to calculate by, as that car does not have an M5's 4.9L V8 engine. More specifically it's sporting an I6 engine. Says MPower on it, and at a glance looks like an E36 M3's 3.2L. Could be a 3L or 2.8L though for all I know The numbers posted are fairly similar to a stock M5s at 400 hp. So, did this car start out as a 530, or 528? Just curious and not knocking it, I think it's a neat custom job. Sorry if the info is posted in here somewhere and I missed it.
