fault code 201C
Hi, I have fault code 201C
the composition of the mixture is rich
W211 Mercedes E200 Kompressor 2005y
the engine is 271.941
fuel consumption is increased and the power of the engine is litle lower
any ideas how to fix would be great

hey im new.my mb sprinter is not starting with a code crankshaft position sensor a range performance.tested contiuety from the sensor tothe computor box ,and its .now tested the sensor ,its ok and i even move on to replace it.cleared the code tried it but stil not starting and the code is back agai.any help please

how did you fix your P201C error.i have a 2002 c200 kompressor with a 271 engine.it also has the P201C error code and also P0171 and P2029 error codes. ive changed a cracked hose under the airbox already but the check engine light keeps coming back. i also changed the cam shaft magnets and the connector wires from the magnets and the upstream o2 sensor. the car drives better but fuel consumption is still high and 5 days ago it did the jerking thing whilst i was stopping at a red light.

I am new member too. to reset and read the codes get a obd2 scanner from ebay or amazon for $15. I bought the Obdii Scanner Code Reader Can Maxiscan Oxgord Ms300 comes with manual with a list of codes.

I, know is an old thread but my 01 C320 is driving me crazy with ESP going on a "limping mode" at the worst possible moment and this codes could be a life saver (thanks a lot for posting)

Not sure what you are asking, but I am guessing that you have issues with your ESP? What exactly is it doing?
Also, W203 are all Mercedes models produced (actual production began in July 2000 through Dec 2006) from 2001-2007

2004 SLK32AMG
The list of codes such as PO....... that are posted above would they apply to a 2004 SLK 32 AMG model ? The PO looks like most standard car codes. I have a problem I need help with. After changing a dead battery I can not get the car started anymore. It started fine initially after the battery change a week ago. Bur now it will not start. If I turn the key back and forth long enough it may start and fires up and immediately dies and displays Start Error and the #88 appears in the odometer along with the MB wrench symbol. Form other forums I have tried cleaning prongs on fuses # 9, 35 and 37 but this seems to be a communication problem between the key and the computer or the interface between these. I got three keys with the car years ago and tried different keys but no luck. I was having this starting issue for about a year before the battery finally went dead. I replace the battery with A Walmart 720 CCA the came exact battery as the MB battery, I have seen a reference to a K-40 relay and also some talk of a bad starter switch but all the lights on the dash come on with every turn of the key just no start. Does anyone know what the #88 means ? and how id this solved ? Thanks
