C32 - Pulley Removal Tool - MD/DC/VA

If anyone needs a pulley swap in MD/DC/VA area shoot me a PM. I made a tool when I swapped my pulley back in 2005-2006. I don't have my pulley anymore but if anyone needs any help I'm sure we can work something out.

Not sure how everyone is mounting them anymore but I know it was a super pain in the *** to swap when I did mine.

The crank pulley? What exactly does the tool help with? Pulling it off, or locking up the shaft?

It holds the crank pulley in place so you can unbolt it. Once it's unbolted I never had a problem removing the pulley itself.

Not me... It was a PIA to get my 185MM off after unbolting it. I pre-oiled all points before installation too. Do you have a photograph of the tool? What I've done on both my 02' Sportcoupe and the 02' C32 is to lock up the bell housing. Usually with a large wrench, but I've found a medium large c clamp works great. The wrench ended up chipping off part of the bell housing when I unbolted the OE crank for C32.

At first I thought you had a pulley puller, but you have the harmonic balancer holder

I've considered buying the holder in the past, but am unsure if it'll work on the 185MM Eurocharged crank pulley.

That would be something similar.. Only thing available back in 04 was the factory tool which was crazy expensive.
