ISo kit works great, you can DIY or use the Needswings, (which I used). It took about less than 10 minutes with their kit

Yea, i bought the Needswings kit and a bottle of chill charger.. How do you recommend installation..? I kind of have an idea, going to drain and flush the radiator system (what is the best product for a flush..?), replace old IC pump with new, install the iso kit, leave valves open, refill system with new antifreeze, distilled water and chill charger additive, run car thru a full heat cycle until air pockets are out, close valves.. How did you guys do this..?

I have used Chill Charger in the past as well as Redline's Water Wetter for the radiator. I did'nt do a change this time, BUT when I did in the past, I always use Genuine MB Coolant. Nothing else.

I ran through 3 heat cycles before closing the Needswings valves. They say One BUT I erred in the favor of caution.

I always use the Prestone radiator flush, and haven't had any problems. You can get it at Wal-mart for around three dollars. There's a method to purge the I/C system of air bubbles. Running heat cycle once or twice does an adequate job however. I've previously used Redline's water wetter, but am now going to try Royal Purple - Purple Ice.

I posted a fully detailed DIY thread with photographs over on benzworld...

Not sure what others have done, but I'm going to install by placing rubber spacers on the smaller cm30 pump, and use the original bracket.

Yes, you need to cut off the original harness on the vehicle, and just splice the wires together... Keep in mind this DIY thread I made is for lightning pump nearly identical to the OE pump. Johnson already has the positive and negative wires installed on the pump.

You can think of it that way but it all depends on how you are going to add coolant to the split system.

Here is some additional reading for you. https://mbworld.org/forums/c32-amg-c...group-buy.html
And I can not emphasize enough. Get familiar with the Search function or this super fast old C32 AMG will cost you lots of $$$$ and you will start hating it very soon.

What reservoir are you thinking of getting? Here is a video of the BMW reservoir install on the E55.
it may give you some ideas.
