Unable to set clock

I have a 2002 C32,a while back I had an accident and since it has come back from the body shop I can't set the clock.I know they had the battery disconnected and want to know if there is a certain sequence of things you have to do when reconnecting it.When I go into the menu it skips the screen where you actually set the time and don't know why.

The owners manual tells you how,but my menu will not go to the screen it shows in the book,it skips past it.

Do you have COMAND? If so, you do it through there.

I dont know how the 32's were but in my 55, it is automatic but you just need to setup the time zone. that is done through the service menu.

times can be only set through the comand menu with cars that have it.
