Funny problem with c32. Help?

I have this weird problem with my car. It has the usual mods: jerry tune 2, headers, exhaust, pulley upgrade..

I was driving through traffic for a while and the car was running fine (no overheating). The traffic cleared and I got on the throttle a little, all of a sudden the car died. I pushed it to the side of the road and it wouldn't start for like 15-20 min (met a beautiful girl by the road side lol). I went through the fuses and everything I could and I found nothing wrong. No codes or anything.

I tried to start the car many times and after 20 min it started right up. I revved it twice and I drove off trying to limp it home. Nothing felt out of place. I hit the gas to merge into traffic after about 5 min of driving and it died again. After another 20 min of trying to start it it started right up. I drove all the way home with a light foot and made it all the way to the driveway.

I then stomped the throttle again and it didn't cut off. I did it 3 times till the tires smoked, full throttle and nothing happened. ??? What is causing this?

I did a search and came up with nothing.

Look up CPS, Crank Position sensor.

Sounds like this is what it is, not positive, but symptoms sound like it. Tends to fail when the sensor gets old and when the engine gets hot, it causes it to fail. Then, once it cools off, car starts again.

Not that your engine is over heating, but being hot for a long period of time.

If it happens again, pop the hood, let it cool off and magically, in 15-20 minutes it will start again. Luckily they aren't that that expensive.

If you had the ECU out for the tune you might just double check the connectors are on all the way.

You might want to go nearest mec. shop. It is really tight place. CPS in my car stuck for good, so I used opportunity when I removed the supercharger for oil change and pulled it out.

To make sure there's no oil left in the unit.
