I have an odd glitch and I am brand new to the AMG world.
Just picked up a vandalized C32 AMG and trying to restore to its old glory.

Basically my wipers, cruise control and cigarette lighter don't work when I first start the car. Eventually I will see my red light pop on on charger (in the cigarette lighter) and all three will be fine.

I'm counting out wiring (dont move the car and eventually works), fuses (it works part time) and a few other things but I can't seem to find out the problem. Is it the SAM in the steering wheel or something else?

Oh also forgot that the washer sprayer always works. I figured those would be connected somehow but I guess not.

Just noticed my SRS light is on when nothing works, but it goes off instantly when the other parts start working...

Something big controlling the electronics has to be doing this.

I have a 04 CLK 55 AMG & the wipers started glitching today. hope somebody has a suggestion

Would anyone have an idea of what would control the cigarette lighter? (like the module that tells it to work when the car is on)

I had a problem when starting up SRS light. No wipers or power to the Cig lighter. I replaced Relay Q under the hood and all seems ok now.

it is either your front or rear SAM most likely. Search around there is is fairly well documented.

honestly you really need to get the Car Scanned using the MB DAS computer. that will pin point what's giving the problem
