For those who have dyno'd the c32, baseline stock #'s?

From researching on various sites I seem to have come up with a range of 275-310 RWHP for stock C32s. I'm not sure this is entirely accurate. For those who have had your cars dyno'd let's see some first-hand accounts of RWHP & RWTQ. I just want to know where my car stands when it hits a dyno in a month or so.

We've seen 272-300 hp at the wheels on our dyno. While I'm not sure if it is a coincidence or not, the 2003's seem to be at the upper range of those numbers.

What % estimate of drivetrain loss do you guys think is best for C32s? What kind of RWTQ figures do you guys see?

Ben - Does switching the ECU to 91 octane help the dyno at all?

Hmmm. So if I get anything like 300 RWHP/ TQ I should be happy.

For whatever reason my car feels much peppier today. Perhaps my comfort level is rising with familiarity and I'm actually pushing it harder. But man this thing goes like stink. Maybe its all those ounces I saved by going to the flat hood badge. Oh and it got washed today so all of that heavy dust and bug mess weight is off the car.

I'm heading to a dyno 45 mins. from here right now. I will report results in this thread upon return. They only charge $30 for one pull.

Well, I went to dyno and turned off the ESP and for some reason the brakes stayed on during the pulls. The graph looked healthy up until that brakes came on. It was putting down close to 250 RWHP at what looked like midway through the graph. If you followed the arching line it would have been up towards 300 depending on how the graphs look on these C32s. Two error lights came up for 'brake assist not available' and something about esp not available.

One of the guys over at c32life.com let me in on the pre-dyno process:
Screens in Diagnostic Mode
Insert Key, turn to position 1,
immediately hold Odometer Reset button in for 30 seconds.
small beep:
use the page up/page down buttons on the wheel to get this display
INSTR SW 3701 Ver 7D
INSTR HW 4501
INSTR NO A203 540 98 11
Oil level __ . __ Qts
Eng: ___________________

Turn to position 2, Oil and Engine type is now available.
small beep:
INSTR SW 3701 Ver 7D
INSTR HW 4501
INSTR NO A203 540 98 11
Oil level 7.5 Qts this is rrf standard
Eng: AMG M112 E32ML

ESP Dynometer Test

“ON”
“W. TERM 15 OFF” << Normal Selection
(select what you want with the “+”/”-“ buttons on wheel,
Enter the selection with the “v” key on the wheel)

If Dynometer test is left ON then Fault 3 is displayed upon restart of the motor
In that case: reset to W. TERM 15 OFF << Normal Selection
(as soon as the ESP Dyno Test display comes back on)

Going back tomorrow and will try then. I'll let you guys know how/ if it works. I have a local M3 owner joining me and also invited the local guys from the Viper club. Maybe I'll get some pics.
