Need advice. P0120, P0221
Yesterday my esp light came on and the car wouldn't let accelerate above 20mph. I pulled into a parking lot and restarted the car. It was idling between 2k- 3k rpm. I shut the car off and did a quick ecu reset (gas pedal trick) and it ran fine. This morning I pulled the codes and it was P0120 and P0221 which are throttle/pedal position sensor switch A and switch B. Through my research I've read where guys have replaced the TPS assembly, the engine wiring harness, and throttle body with no success. My question is, where should I start troubleshooting the problem. I love the car but can't afford to spend a fortune. I just had the alternator replaced last week.

The car is definitely in "home" mode but other than that the car starts up fine and idles fine. How difficult is it to replace the TPS assembly?
