Hi guys i'm new here and have one question.
I own a C55 Amg and did resonator delete today, Everything Went well and a very rare sound.

Haha! Unless you have emissions regulations like I have...
The secondaries are the first two cannisters moving back from the resonator towards the front of the car. Following the exhaust flow, they are right before the dual downpipes collect into one pipe:
sounds good too:

but secondary delete gives almost no gains in Power,,
and you can still fit 200cel cats next to the gearbox instead and then no secondary.
Should be able to pass emissiontest, Sweden got the same rules as California, and mine passed just fine.
And expect a good gain in Power also,, even better with longtube headers.

Or.... You could put some aftermarket headers on, get rid of the primaries,
get a ECU-tune and keep the secondaries in place and pass emissiontests.
(Bilprovningen.)
That´s what I´ve done!
What blocks the power in first place are your headers and primary cats, not
your secondaries.
But if you don´t have tuning in your mind, go ahead cutting out your secondaries!
PS Swedepat, Roonaldoo´s from Stockholm! DS

Thank you guys to sharing your information. I Cut the secondary cat off today
This video just show when res-del only.
I Also have a very good ecu-tune that my friend put in. I Went to my friend to check the Power on the Wheels on a roolband. 409 Hp and 555 nm so i gained much Power.

Makes the car so damn brutal in the revs :-) Can't ever get enough of it. And the secondary cat removal gives a little bit more power. The resonator however doesn't. All in all, car should have come from the factory sounding like it does minus the secondary cats.

Does removing the resonator and secondary cats make the car stink with exhaust smell that gets on your clothes etc? Or will the primary cats contain that?

The primaries will contain the smell, not really any downside tbh. I already lived my de-cat'd turbo DSM days with two of those cars and my girlfriend (now wife) appreciates the civilized and smell-free AMG My car still passes California smog tests without remounting the secondaries!
