Belt slip type sound/feeling

Hey guys, I have been making quite a few threads these days due to all the weird issues I have been having with my c32 restore project.

I am currently running a 178 asp pulley, with a lm21 belt wrap kit that was designed for 61-65mm pulley. I had to get a slightly larger serp belt in order to fit it.

Here is my situation.. with running the car hard with trans in manual mode from low gears the car seems to work and act fine but if I try to give it a little throttle in higher gears I can hear the supercharger cut in and out real fast. instead of whaaaaaaaaaa I hear wha wha wha wha... like that and the car will jerk. Now my belt tensioner is quite quite old with 188k miles on it and I can see it bounce slightly at idle.

Another thing to note is that the vehicle did the same thing when I had the 61mm pulley on with no belt wrap but it seemed much much worse. as I couldn't even do a wot run on highway in the proper gear.

Does it feel like you are hitting the wall? It can be belt slip. Check your belt edges for a sign f any threads coming apart. Or it can be SC pulley slip. The magnet somehow is not strong enough to engage with the SC pulley. What is your SC pulley gap?

it slightly feels like i hit a wall but its like im hitting a rev limiter almost but if i ease out on the throttle it will accelerate fine.IAT’S are good, 100f or less. as of now i have two shims on the stock pulley. the 61 that came with the car had no shims and was scraping on the magnet. i have a brand new belt and i did notice on the outside of the closest to the front there is a light 2 cm wear mark where it looks like something is rubbing. I checked everything but didnt see any evidence of rubbing.
