Aftermarket Suspension

Is there an after market suspension that keeps the car at the same/stock height while improving the ride? I can't lower the car, or I'll be bottoming out on my driveway.

Look for replacement shocks only. Koni, bilstein etc. Upgrading swaybars would be a must as well- coilovers and springs with higher spring rates are an easier alternative to less body roll but sway bars are a better way to go.

I have KW coilovers but I think even at the highest setting they will still lower the car a little. My driveway causes me the same issues but at least I have approx 15-20mm clearance with stock suspension as long as I drive slowly.

Stay away from PSS9, i have them and they are far from good.
Noisy springs and knocking noises, due to the spings are too short or pistons are too long so the strut is not getting tension so the spring is always a little loose make noises which oem doesn't have.
Contacted customer support many times with no help.

eclectic assortment of cars
If you want stock-ish height, why not look to C55 springs? I think they will lower a C32 a bit, but they are definitely useable on a daily basis. I obviously have them on my car, LOL, a basically stock C55.

+1, if you give me about another month or so...I'm getting the Bilstein PSS9 coilovers and will have a set of the C55 springs and shocks. Shocks will prob be pretty used but springs are springs, they don't really go bad.

You have been told about PSS9, let me know how it goes.

IMO I believe the best ride is attained through the stock suspension. I currently have H&R coilovers and though I don't mind the ride, I will be returning it to stock once I can justify taking the loss. The dealership quoted me $900 per axle for the shocks but I believe the bilstein b4's are a good substitute at a fraction of the cost.

Yes, I saw your post, interesting...everything else I've ever heard about Bilstein is they are some of the best of the best along with the other really high end ones. Did you install yours yourself or have someone else do it? If someone else, maybe they did something funky during installation. I'm not discounting your review of them, just trying to do my research before finalizing the purchase. Others on here have them and love them.

This is somewhat off topic, since it would be a waste of money to purchase Bilstein PSS9 and not lower the car, but I have to defend this Bilstein model. I had PSS9 installed in 2005 and never had any problems. I take the car to the track and drive hard on f___up NY streets. The car is close to 150K miles now. Anyone having issues with PSS9 on a W203 platform should find a new installer.
