Guys,

Any issues with towing my 2002 C32 with a dolly from Uhaul. Apart from all the horror stories of Uhaul... has anyone done this? When ever I have had to tow the car, it has always been on a flatbed with all wheels not moving.

I looked through the manual and it looks like it is possible (tow with dolly).

Wanted to see what the forum has to say about this and if you can offer any tips, suggestions, wisdom, experience, etc.

Rear tires still on the ground spinning? I don't think its recommended, even with the car in neutral. IIRC, it will spin the transmission but not be able to cool itself off and cause damage.

Thanks for this thread. I searched on 'dolly' and 'tow' not sure why I didn't find that thread.

I had a sneaking suspicion that there was a really good reason not to use a tow dolly. Auto Transport it is. I can see it now....about an hour into my planned 5 day, cross country trip from LA to back East.... 'honey, pull over the 'car' is smoking really bad. That would not be pretty. Again, thanks for the assist.

Years ago I towed a flatbed on the back of a Penske truck... does U-Haul not have flatbed trailers?

This is how to do it! Pic of when I picked my daughter's new GLK 350 4matic. The Uhaul website however confused the GLK to be the G or GL.
