Question How many of you have replaced your oil sensor?

Oil is in the car and said to check level. Upon checking the dash readout, it says oil level OK. So, I only assume the sensor is messed up. I have 107k on the car and never replaced the sensor. It looks like I will ignore until I change my oil. Anyone else replace theirs, if so, at what mileage? Of course it's 16 degrees out and this will have to keep until I order the parts and a warm garage is at hand.

Check level? Or to add oil? I've never seen a check level, only an add 2.0 qts at next station.

Sensors can leak oil inside, then you have to get new sensor. Job is easy, drain your oil and take sensor off.

I thought it read low. So, I added 1/2 quart and on the way to work it said remove excess or something along those lines. I am picking up a sensor
tomorrow. I used a top sider to pull 1/8 of a quart out and wondering what
will pop up on the commute in tomorrow....
