C32 Intercoolers IN STOCK

Ahh well it did seem like you were stating that they were no different than the stock ones. So why do you think these would not provide any benefit? At least if the flow is the same we can count on them not leaking and staying cooler. I'd rather buy one of these units than another crap oem

I already say that stock looks better flowing, becouse it has more surface area. That why i want to see some results and not quessing "it might be better" or "some ones car is fast with this", those prove nothing in this matter.

And if this flows worse, then this is not good for powerfull setups or some one like me who want to upgade. Why not reveal these informations to make this more interesting product, i dont want to buy product which throttles the power, better cooling and no leak is not enought at least for me.

You're kind of confusing me here, since you're saying you want to use the intercooler on an upgraded car, but you have no opinion on cooling matters. That's kind of contradictory, since flowing "x+1" amount of air isn't necessarily going to make as much power as flowing "x" amount of air that's cooler, because colder air is more dense with oxygen and oxygen (not "air", which is a solution of oxygen, nitrogen, etc.) is what allows fuel to burn/make power.
I'm happy to answer your questions ... just not sure I can follow what you're talking about.

I have no real opinion in cooling matters, but if i must quess, maybe this is better for cooling becouse single pass(atleast with powerfull pump), but still core size is same as stock wich is not so good.

Also: PS you guys, we sold the last one- it'll be about a week before we have another core in, and we should have 2 on the shelf by April.

I mean if cooling capasity is near the same than stock, but flow is much better, then i dont care about cooling capacity. Hope this solve this matter.

Data like this blogger did with the Nissan radiators would be really helpful to sell a $1000+ cooling product for a 12 year old AMG.

charts, empirical data would be nice. Other then being an aftermarket unit that is a little cheaper then oem, why is yours better?

I bought one of these last year. The core is smaller than stock, the opening towards the kompressor is smaller than stock and fitment was poor; I contacted speedriven about the fitment but got no response, so I was forced to make it fit with a grinder.
Only advantages seem to be that these are cheaper than OEM, and that there is a chance that these don't start leaking (unlike the OEM ones).

If anyone chooses to buy the intercooler buy it threw speedriven not threw Rudy, nothing against Rudy but you will be spending more money going threw Rudy. Found out that he buys the units from them and sells them on his own for the same amount but only difference is he is selling just the unit for $1100 non thermal coated and shipped to Rob at Needwings where thermal coating is extra.
Compared to Speedriven $950 plus $150 for thermal coating $1100

So I am thinking my intercooler is leaking... is it possible to remove it and fix it? Is the problem with these things a cracked weld? A pin hole? Corrosion? Wear (rubs a hole in it)?
I have not pulled mine yet and am wondering what my options are. Where do these things leak from - specifically please. Or are there any number of places they leak from?
Thanks
