What percent tint should I do?
I just installed my moleskin yesterday afternoon and I have an appointment next Wednesday morning to install tint on my car, 3M Color Stable.
My dilemma is that my state law is 35% on front windows, 20% on back windows and rear window. I want my tint to be dark but I'm afraid the difference in darkness on the side windows will look weird. My friend has an M3 with 20% all the way around and it looks great, but I'm afraid of getting a ticket. My girlfriend has a clk55 with 35% all around and I would prefer darker.
What should I do? Will the 35% front and 20% back windows look weird from the side?

20% all around. The chances of you getting a ticket for your tint are slim to none. Its not worth having the weird mismatched window tint. I've had 20% on every car I've owned since 17 (now 30) and lived in TX,MS,FL,MD and have yet to ever get a ticket. Knocking on wood now.....

I believe I did 15%?.. which I believe is a tad darker than the legal limit. (might be 20%) I don't get hassled for it. Just don't go super dark and you should be fine.

I'd say whatever is legal and uniform around the car. Maybe even a little less than the legal limit. Darker isn't worth the potential hassle from the fuzz if you ask me.

Yeah, my good friend and I did them one evening, the back ones aren't really even large enough to notice!(want to upgrade to 6/4piston) But the color matches the new carbon ceramic caliper color really closely!

We sanded took them off, apart, and sanded them down. Then we used mineral spirits and brake cleaner to completely clean them. After we applied three coats of VHT caliper primer. Then we applied four coats of the high temp color. After it had dried, I applied AMG caliper stickers and then we added three coats of VHT caliper clear coat! Put them back on, flushed the lines and voila! They have held up great!
