Check the amplifier in the trunk, water typically gets into the area where the amplifier sits and corrodes/damages it, hopefully that's not the case but that's where I would start.

COMAND, no sound & fuses
I´m having the same problems with my C32. Fuses for Telephone, cd-changer, soundsytem etc. breaks the second I replace them.... Checked for water in eng.comp&rear fuseboxes. Anyone have an idea where to go next? Previous owner had aftermarket amplifier installed, it´s not in the car anymore...

COMAND, no sound & fuses
Thank you insame1 for reply. No, only amplifier was removed before I bought the car last month. Noticed the leftover cables in the trunk & front fusebox. Now all the wires are removed but the fuses for Telephone, cd-changer and soundsystem still breaks the moment I change them.... Maybe a broken cable somewhere... Where´s the OEM amplifier?

Its behind the trunk carpet. There may still be bare wires somewhere. I mean you obviously have a short somewhere.

Thanks kramykram for reply. I´m not even sure there is an amplifier in the trunk right now. The quest continues today... Like I said previous owner had an aftermarket amplifier, I will check the old installation & rewiring where necessary!

In USA was gonna say come by if you were near by. Do you have orange cables going into your amp? That's multimodal fiber if you do. Do you have the navigation, cd changed in your car?

I have NAV, cd-changer, Nokia-phone and it´s all dead now... Must be some broken wires and the search continues today.
