AMG Badging or Aftermarket

I know this is up to individual taste but I wanted to see who kept the AMG branded exhaust tips and wheels or if you chose to go aftermarket instead. I'm thinking of having my stock AMG wheels powdercoated black. Any thoughts?

Went aftermarket with both. Just got my 3 piece wheels back from powder coating and run a full 3" exhaust to dual quad tips.

Did you have to do a headlight/fog HID conversion? My '06 C55 has halogen lamps. What is your wheel fitament and suspension setup?

none... for now
I actually think the oval tips look frumpy, and the 4.5x2" or whatever big oval tips look even goofier. Give me a set of quad, double-wall 3.5" slash cut any day, most cars

That being said, tips can be stupidly expensive, and I'd probably opt to do the usual secondary cat/resonator delete + X pipe into duals, and you can get some mufflers for nearly the price of tips. But so few people actually change mufflers, that it's a crapshoot what it will sound like. There's all of about 5 videos on YouTube that aren't stock mufflers or muffler delete.

I bought the Depo headlights on eBay and added HIDs, wheel fitment is 19x8.5 +32 19x9.5 +19, suspension is H&R springs w/ Bilstein B8 shocks/struts.

One last question....does your wheel/suspension setup have the wheels flush with the fender or did you tuck?

Not these, they poke in the rear due to the low offset. My winter wheels sit flush with a +23 offset (originally +35 but I use a 12mm spacer to make them +23)

Make sure you get your fenders rolled tho, you'll rub your tires if you don't
