Pilot Sport Tires Feedback?? too much spin
i read lots of the tire posts here and seems like many people like the Pilot Sport tires so i just replaced all 4 tires those (went with OEM size, 245 rears) which makes a huge with a nice firm ride vs the continental all season tire i had.
traction is overall much better with the Pilot Sports, but is it normal to still get a lot of wheel spin like i'm getting? i do have some mods on my c32 (178mm pulley, intake, headers, tune) but am surprised that the Pilots dont hook up better even with the additional HP gains. i live in chicago so admittedly our roads suck and are beaten up with the winters so maybe thats part of it.
would the traction better with 255s in the rear?

Are you getting more spin than with the Continentals? It is probably normal though since 245 isn't a super wide tire, especially by today's standards. 255's would be a little wider and would help a little, that's what I had on my C55 along with 235's in the front.

91RS - traction is definitely much better than with the Continental DWS all seasons, but still lots of spin.
it definitely more noticeable the wheel spin after doing that ECU reset trick which is awesome but getting irritating to have to do that basically every other day you drive the car just to get it to drive like it was originally built to do.
I probably need to research the tire upgrades that can support the additional HP/torque gains that come after getting a bigger pulley, tune, headers, intake as the OEM pilots are good for the stock set up but dont seem to hook up if you've upgraded your C32.

My C55 had a Kleemann supercharger on it and spinning is just the name of the game. The only way it ever hooked was with Mickey Thompsons for the drag strip but they weren't the right size so I wouldn't have run them every day. You'll just have to play with it and you'll figure out how to roll into it so it doesn't spin.

they are PS2's not the all seasons.
I may go with 255's for the rears next time and see what that does. also doesnt help driving on downtown chicago streets with all the debris, loose junk and potholes on the roads.
the PS2's absolutely hook up like glue and are awesome especially when taking the downtown chicago Ohio street curved exit ramp at around 70 with no slip at all and then full kick down on the straight heading to the ohio street light. could not do that with any top rated all seasons for sure.

How many mile on the tires? Road condition makes a big difference, the new ones by my house I stick like glue. were as the older main ones I'm spinning. I'm running Conti DW ExtremeContacts.
