C32 - A/C Stepper Motor
I'm replacing the headliner on my '03 C32, since the car was half torn apart i decided to fix the "clicking" from the pass side. Turned out to be coming from M 2/11 Right Footwell Flap. Got it all apart and everything looks fine. Arm is not broken in fact its the retrofitted type "Yay!!". With the arm off I notice the motor shaft is turning for at least 30s on "key on/ key off" . Given the range of motion of the footwell flap there's no way a 30s run time can be accommodated by the flap range of motion. I think what's happening is the flap reaches it's mechanical limit and the motor keeps turning and apparently engages it's slip clutch making the click. Any ideas on fixing this will be appreciated.
Thanks

You're lucky. Mine was the Charcoal filter one which is an absolute ridiculous biatch0 to get to. You literally have to pull off the entire dash. I gave up and just disconnected it instead, sound gone. LOL.
