Hello all,

I got my c55 few months ago and now I have to replace the front right headlight since it is broken inside. But I´m having problem getting them here in Iceland, the dealer here says that it is US version and therfor not like regular headlights. I needed them to get the car though inspection and I ordered some from ebay and they din´t fit

So I´m asking if anyone could point out a side or place were I can get them (online) for fair amount of money (The dealer is charging more then I can say). It can be aftermarket with black background or something.

The car is a US spec car so they're saying you can only use US spec headlights or it won't pass inspection? That's interesting, it used to be that you had to swap out to export lights to pass inspection (or at least that's what I'd always heard, I have no personal experience). Remember that the C55 uses the CLK front bumper and headlights. So, in your search you can look for headlights for C55 and any W209 CLK.

No sorry if I wasnt telling this right, I need the headlight to pass inspection since it is broken, but I can´t find the right headlight to fit and none aftermarket agents here can help me. I don´t know if this is the orginal headlights or not but it looks like it, atleast when I compare it to images I have fond.
But thank you for this info about w209, that will help me allot. I´ll keep looking for them.

I have a set of US Spec / OEM headlights that came of my 2005 C55.
They are stamped Hella and are in good condition.

I can send you pictures if you give me your email.

I am willing to ship as long as you pay for the shipping. I would sell both (the pair driver side + passenger side) for $300 usd.
