slight idle issue need suggestions 2005 C55
I need to help in trying to diagnose a very slight idle issue as I jump about 50 rpm's. I have only had the car for about 2 months and it was very rough at first as the car needed motor mounts that have been replaced.
Given the car has 80K miles I was going to clean the MAF but decided to bite it and replace it and while in there I cleaned the TB which was not very dirty but dirt did come off. Afterwards the car runs the same. The car had new plugs installed at 68K miles and is still on its OEM wires but visually they all look fine. Not sure what to look for and don't want to just randomly buy new OEM wires for $750 or replace the plugs as I really need to get to the route cause of this.
Any suggestions?

Clean the MAF and throttle body and run some fuel cleaner.

I actually decided to just replace the MAF and while doing that I did clean the TB as very minimal dirt but some. It did not improve but it is ever so slight now that I don't think I am going to break make this a priority. I have a few friends that are really good with cars and will get them to take a look as I might of overlooked something.

with a star/xentry/das tool you can watch the "smooth engine running" of each cylinder to pinpoint where the slight mis is coming from. then swap the cables with another cylinder to confirm. any other way is just guessing.
