I'm Thinking of going a little further with this build.
1. RennTech Monolites 19'' if I can find.
2. RennTech Carbon intake still available but willing to purchase mint used.
3. Dtm steering wheel, available in Germany
4. Parametric Steering Rack,Already started research.

Possibly, it would bolt right in without having to do anything else and probably give you what you're looking for. I don't believe there is a lot (if any) info in the board about it. I just remember when I bought the CLK63 brakes, the guy I bought them from was also selling a CLK63 steering rack that I really wanted to buy but didn't have any more money. Now that I think about it, I can't remember if it was the Black Series gear or standard CLK63 (or if the parts are the same either way). You may want to look back through my old posts and see if you can find that for sale thread to verify whether it was BS or not.

I found the part numbers for the 63BS and the clk55 steering rack assembly
with speed sensitive .
Unfortunately the 63BS are no longer available so I'll do some research to see what the difference is with both.

Awesome build x2 winks.
Coming from my 05 CLK55 to my 05 C55, I was shocked at the difference in the steering feel. Not that the C55 is bad, but the effort is substantially higher to turn the wheel. I am already use to it.
Any dyno figures yet?

Dyno will happen.
First I will like to finish the exhaust with 304 stainless and mandrel bends.
Renntech carbon intake found one just haven't pulled the trigger yet.
I recently bought a set of Monolites from another member.
So my Renntech project is almost done.
Already have the before Dyno on video it will be posted with all the upgrades
on the web soon....
As soon as its done I'll update.

Man I am so insanely jealous lol. Your build sounds amazing. I see posts like these and I feel like such a waste of life for owning a stock C55, it's just begging for modification.
At least I wasted extreme amounts of money through insurance just to have this dandy bumper

How on earth did the previous car perform
Yoh man big up to you or should I say hats off to you for going this far deep in the pocket and playing with an expensive car. Its a pity you don't live in South Africa and wasn't around the day I saw the CLK63 BS on the free way
You could have well women drivers aren't easily instigated by men with big fast cars so that wouldn't have worked but hell yeah would have been able to see that car of yours in action. Till date the only quickest car I have driven in was mu uncle inlaw's R35 GTR. Now I am content with my CLK55. Itching however to install a chip later on but will see what happens.
Congrats once again and please post videos inside and out of the car in motion.
