Somebody experianced throttlebody problems?
Yesterday i was out testing car, i noticed a serious sudden powerloss.
Started to diagnose quick as i got it built in my stereo.
However, i noticed that i donīt get full throttle when asking for it.
Hooked off the elbow(my special one) and locked the pedal to the floor.
and i looked at throttlebody, it only opens about 85% max.
Did the throttle reset, no difference.
Bad throttlebody unit?

Yes.. it might be.
I will measure voltage this weekend.
From running easy 12.5 on the quarter without stressing it, it ran 14.1 yesterday.
and trapspeed was about 10mph off.
I might have kicked it hard one too many times

MBWorld Fanatic!
I had problems with mine, I had it rebuilt, but took forever to diagnose. same problems as you described, but mine would also go into Limp mode once in a while and the idle would bounce around too. Hopefully just your pedal fixes it.

I spent about 8hrs this saturday diagnosing.
Didnīt find anything.
Only thing i found was two intermitent codes on oxygensensors(upstream right and downstream left).
I took away the pedal, measured, everything seemed ok.
Fooled the system, i took away the sensor from pedalunit and turned it a little little bit more, from 4.71v to 4.98v
this resulted in that throttlebody opened a little little bit more, but threw a new code, shortcircuit!
Now i figured autocom reported throttleopening wrong.
And when stending still when engine shutoff, throttle never opens above ~85%
Took away all diagnoseunits and tested the same thing i my -06 W164 ML350
It was just about the same issues there too.
Never did the pedaltrick though.
Tested diagnose with my phone, there in 'torque app' everythings was ok! wtf??
Well, did 'sneaky reset' and cleared the codes on oxygensensors.
Now engine is a beast again...
Until next time
