I was thinking to change color, but change my mind. Because car is silver, I think silver calipers looks nice, not too glaringly

is the braking improvement worth the price? This is an honest question not a dig.

big improvement while braking hard from high speed (e.g. 120 mph), in the city not too much difference, but it still is and very noticeable

car looks dope with the new brake kit

did you change the brake master cylinder to a larger one to suit those big boy calipers?
wudd factory BMC handle the new brake kit without giving you braking problems?

No need, the brake master cylinder is fine, these brakes are fitted on the SLK55 and W209 CLK afterall.

Id imagine it would struggle with the 8 pots off the 55K engines, but those brakes don't fit anyways.

^+1^,

Besides; all "W203/W209/R171" sharing the same MC & booster, including "C55/Clk55/Slk55",,

don't see any reason to change them..

I fit them many times in "W124/W140/W202/W208/W210/R170", they perform great as well..

so if they fit on the w124 do you think they would fit the 190e. seems like they should.

I know anything can be done but is it a bolt on. I have a 400e setup right now but they are cast and heavy. I have a project that I am working on that may require superior stopping power.

As i remember; 400E uses (294x25) Fronts & (278x24) Rears, while 190E got (262x22) Fronts & (258x9) Rears,,

i think 400E brakes will fit to the 190E spindles, but it may need little bit to balanced the Rotor in the center of the caliper, not sure about that..!

simple touch..
