Hey guys!
Just picked them baby up the other day. '06 C55 with 90k miles. As you can see from the pictures, she was a little "riced" out. But as I always like to say "nothing a little sriracha sauce can't fix". Nothing major is going to be done (unless I can't help myself) since this will be my daily.
First thing first is getting rid of the black gas cap cover, black taillights and black side skirts. Haven't found a white w203 being parted out to replace these parts with, so I'm not sure how I'm going to handle this. Second on the list is to help her breathe better. Going to upgrade the intake and exhaust system, suspension and wheels after.
This is my first Mercedes so any tips and tricks will greatly appreciated. For those in SoCal, I look forward to meeting some of you guys at the meets/events!

Ewww the black parts are hideous. Rest looks great. Congrats on the car
Those wheels if there the 19" split rims usually seen on the SL55 are worth a fortune and there gorgeous. Heavy though.

Believe me when I say I feel embarrassed driving this car. I'm trying everything I can to piece together the OEM parts.

I found this car in Pasadena. Bought it from an older gentleman that got it from a young kid.

First of all I love srirach, I put it on everythinnnnnnng.
Second, I'm pretty sure it wouldn't be expensive to just have the gas cover painted to oem. Just a tiny square.
Also, congratulations!

Growing up Vietnamese, I too put it on everything. I go hammer time when I get pho haha.
But I think I might repaint it. I was scared the paint wasn't going to match but it can't get any worse. I got quoted to paint my side skirts for $200. I might just go that route instead of replacing them.

Definitely better than trying to source out used skirts, in your color at least.

Still deciding if I want to paint the trunk spoiler too or wrap it with CF.

I actually don't mind the tinted tail lights, if the tint was done correctly (meaning a body shop did the lights and they're shiny like the paint) I would say leave those. But yeah, the rest needs to go! Getting the rockers repainted may be your best bet as long as they're physically in good shape since shipping something that long will cost a fortune and then a lot of junk yards don't accurately describe the condition so you could end up with rockers that need body repair and then will have to be painted.

I am getting them repainted this week while I'm out of town for work. Hopefully I will come home to them ready to be istalled.
I am leaving the tail lights for now since they are like $200 to replace. I am painting the trunk spoiler and gas cap cover as well. As for the roof spoiler, taking that off and selling it.

Finally got the gas cap cover, trunk spoiler and rocker moldings painted! One step closer to her classy days!
I also removed the rook spoiler that was on it previously.

i like the taillights i would leave them, but thats personal preference,
if you want to find replacement taillights go to www.car-part.com you can probably find used ones cheap and sell the tinted ones.
