Mixing spark plug wires (Magnecore & Bosch OEM)

i (mistakenly) decided to replace my Bosch OEM spark plug wires with a set of Magnecor KV85 which i got a good deal on as they came with the NKG plugs as well. many posters have said they had misfires after installing magnecor's so i should have known better...

with the magnecor's installed now about 3 weeks it appears i have a slight misfire on cylinder 1 and pretty noticeable vibration while in drive at very low speeds which was never an issue prior to these wires getting installed.

***my question is - - - i have the old bosch wires so will there be any issue mixing wires and installing the old Bosch wires (assuming they are fine) on cylinder 1 only and keeping the new Magnecor's in all the other cylinders that dont misfire and seem to be working ok???? or is it best to replace them all to the old Bosch OEM version???

I'm using "Magnecor KV85" since 5 years with 2 differ models, they're great wires,,

something wrong with these wires, or some wires NOT attached properly to the coil port..!!

Zayed- thanks good to hear positive review on the magnecores

Any guidance on if mixing magnecores and Bosch wires will cause misfire issues???

Am wondering because the MAGNECOREs are unmarked but the coil packs are marked with A and B slots and the Bosch wires are specified per cylinder number AND the A or B slot specified.

So either the magnecores I installed are mixed up causing the misfire OR the magnecores on cylinder 1 are defective???

after changing the cylinder 1 plug wires from new Magnecor to new OEM the misfire still exists so am assuming the Magnecor's were fine actually which is good to know

next i swapped coil packs with cylinder 1 and cylinder 3 (the pack immediately next to cylinder 1.... pretty sure its #3) and no change the misfire still exists.

assume next is to replace the plug and possible fuel injector??? new plugs were installed 2 months ago so not sure if gapped properly or something else. also i cant determine if a bad plug is the issue started because when the new plugs were installed i also had bad motor and trans mounts and was getting tons of vibration from those issues. after replacing the motor, trans mounts and flex disks i still have the misfire and vibration.

other than that i still love this 14 year old car!!! but geez they are damn expensive to keep up with relative to their book value

Sure bro., mixing up wires will not affect,

mostly; plugs/coils/air leaks does misfires..!,,

try to check the wire connector plug, after that, check the fuel pressure as well..
