Help purchasing Headers
I'm looking for headers that will still allow me to pass emissions. Is that possible.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

The shorty ones connect onto your downpipes which allows you to use the existing cats. Its easy remove the old headers and install the EC headers. Cats are still intak..

Great, thanks I'm upgrading my ECU and TCU, then swapping my springs for H&Rs within the next two weeks. I'll most likely order the headers after that.

My longtube headers with 100cell racecats have no problems in emissiontest.
Brand of cats are :redback(australia)
Had 200cell magnaflow earlier, just crap!! do not buy!
Problems with emissions and core 'pyramided' and got burnt and furter on fell apart.(end of season, long after emissiontest, at the test, the cats were new)

From what I read the kleemann long tube headers are the way to go. However I'm having trouble finding that redback 100 cell cat for sale in the states. Does any one else know of any other good 100 cell cats?
Thanks

Just looked into this subject a bit more and it looks like I should be able to pass, but I'm not 100% sure.

This sounds great to me, but has anyone experienced emission issues?
Thanks!

I have the kleeman headers and downpipes...they will get rid of the primary cats only, I was just suggesting getting rid of the secondary cats and resonator for better flow and sound..make sure you get a tune as well

I got 2.5" high flow cats, make sure they are pretty short in overall length, as there isnt much space to work with (at least on my CLK) the magnaflow ones I got were 8" overall
