Fuel sending unit swap (what I learned)
Hey All,
I swapped out my leaking fuel sending unit last night. I had a few issues but this forum, as always, came to my rescue.
1. The replacement part number for the sending unit is 2094700494
2. This thread has lots of good info https://mbworld.org/forums/c32-amg-c...igh-input.html
3. The new pump uses a different sending unit with a new plug.
4. You have to open both sides so buy 2 new seal rings.
5. New lock nuts are not necessary
6. The lock nuts can be a huge pain to put back on. There is no "easy" way just keep trying.
7. Autozone caries an alternative part for the plug mentioned in the above thread. Part number is 462.
I am not sure if it is wishful thinking or not but, the car seems to run a little smoother.
I think that is it but I will update if I can think of anything else.
