The Rotiforms pww has look quite nice, I could dig it. The fact that my wife likes the look too might help the cause too, as it were! Price is right too, for the cast ones. It's too bad they don't do the MIA in 18", I dig that design.

I checked out the Red-G website too, they say their only Mercedes fitment is for W204s, but if the offset is high enough and you do the right spacer/lug combination, it might work for 203s.

But when they start getting near to $3k for a set of four, might as well get Volks or LMs. VRwheels.com typically has lots of BBS LM sets. They told me they charge $150 to redrill from 114.3 to 112. That's done with steel inserts and is not supposed to affect the cosmetics. I don't think I'd want to trust wobble bolts.

Another wheel brand to keep is mind is Enkei. They are coming out with a new design for 2012, the Raijin. Looks cool. I love my RPF1s on my S2000, but not sure I'd do it on my AMG.

I've run a set of wheels with a redrill, its nothing to be afraid of these companies (definitely VRWheels) know what they are doing. Be careful wtih those used wheel websites though, those wheels almost always come at good prices for a reason. LM's at a good price often have either minor bends in the lips or need to be refinished.

As for the Enkei's, definitely good wheels, if you like that design be sure to check out the Miro 111, looks just about the same.

Day out shopping with the wife, but as I had washed the car in the morning, and I knew we would be heading to a collection of shops with a nice open view, I brought my camera. Got there near dusk and there was some pretty light. Here are a few snaps:

And here are some from about a month ago when the odo clicked over to 100,000 km:

Here is a pic I just took after the springs. It's not a good picture because the car is dirty and light poor but you can see the reduction in front fender clearance

Yea I'm really feeling the urge to get back to track days this year and this car has survived the years looking way too nice for that kind of use. I'd like to sell it so I can pick up a used Boxster or Cayman. Its on Ebay Item #200712783805 as well-

Would be better imo with a flat slat grill. Looks good either way. Going to attract attention from hondas wanting to race!

Haha yeah I went to dinner at wingers with my friends on saturday night after I painted them and while we were eating I looked out and there was a Honda parked by me and like 4 dudes surrounding my car looking in it and stuff. So we went out and were like can we help you, and they were like "we were just looking at it" and walked away without saying another word. It was kinda sketchy but it does attract attention. And for the grille, it the stock grille but I hit a pigeon going like 50 mph and it broke my grille so i fixed it and there were some pieces missing in the middle so I went to a junk yard and found an old star off an old 300d and cut out the grille and glued the star into it. But I'm planning buying a new grille sooner than later hopefully.

Finally got the OZs mounted on the car. Front fitment was close even with the 5mm spacer.

New here

Hey all, picked up this beaut just this week:

one with the California sun in full bloom:

Sorry for the bad quality phone pics but its all I can do at the moment, but yeah what do you guys think about the color? I have serious OCD about these kinda things, see in my hunt for a 55 I always thought I'd come up upon a Iridium Silver beaut but went with the Pewter. The darker shade of metal is nice but it kinda shines brown in the sun? (or my eyes are playing a trick on me). I love it though, I guess you can equate it to you & your wife thinking you're having a boy for 9 months, you have the baby shower and everything, and she pops out a girl: you're still very much happy... but you know? I'm thinking I'll change my mind when I slap some BBS LMs on... hopefully

Haha but yes guys I'm new here, hopefully will be here to stick around pleasure to meet you all.

Looks great! I like those wheels. Wish the C55 came in that color. You need to lower than thing though.
